Magen's writing is considered extremely diverse with a catalogue that includes electro-acoustic music, string quartets, music for film and rock music. Her recent interest in political writing has worked its way into her compositional style. Magen has had her compositions premiered by the Georgia State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the University of Arkansas' Wind Symphony. She is currently published by C. Alan Publications, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. In addition to her work as a composer , Magen is also the Founder and Owner of the Dallas Music Guild-an organization whose mission is to spark interest in independent work and collaboration with local musicians-Mrs. Frasier also teaches piano and fiddle in her private studio and as a member of the Dallas Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association.
She is fiddler for the Texas Country Band, 'Due South', plays violin with the Meadows World Music Ensemble at Southern Methodist University and also performs at weddings and special events. Magen currently resides in Dallas, TX with her husband, Jacob, and daughter, Zoey.
